Placement Testing

(860) 906 5089 - Room 220

To assure that students are adequately prepared for college-level courses, basic skills placement tests must be taken prior to registration. The results of these tests are used by the college staff to place students into appropriate courses. Students whose native language is other than English must take an ESL (English-as-a-Second Language) test. Exemptions from testing are detailed in appropriate material prior to each semester.

Note: No appointments are required for the General Test, entrance to the test is on a first-come first-serve basis.
